Don’t forget the Renegade writers have two events this week at the Gladstone Pottery Museum.
The Story Cafe Thursday 5 September there will be a Storytelling Cafe at the Gladstone Pottery Museum. Members of Renegade Writers, Room in the Roof and Newcastle Library’s writing group will be entertaining the audience with readings. A must for fans of fiction and short stories! Free but tickets are strictly limited and can be booked by calling Gladstone on 01782 237777. Doors open at 7pm.
There is also a weekend of workshops coming up at Gladstone Pottery Museum on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September. There’s excellent advice for anyone planning to write a novel on Saturday with ‘Planning and Structuring you Novel’ led by Misha Herwin and Rachel Hallett 11am – 1pm. In the afternoon (2 – 4pm) Malcolm Harvard and Jem Shaw will run a ‘Researching you Writing’ session.
On Sunday, 11am- 1pm you can find out about ‘Writing Short Stories’ with Peter Coleborn and Jan Edwards. From 2 – 4pm Tim Diggles and Elisia Green will lead the ‘Using Your Life Experience as a Basis for Fiction’ session.
